Gary Gayle

Chief Executive Officer

Gary Gayle is a systems builder focused on making advanced AI practical, reliable, and accountable in everyday environments.

With a background in Information Systems from Purdue University Global and more than 15 years of hands-on experience in appliance systems, he brings together operational discipline, applied engineering, and systems architecture to bridge physical infrastructure with intelligent software.

He founded Value Intelligence Solutions (ValueIO) to develop governed AI infrastructure for real-world environments — beginning with the home, where physical state, automation, user trust, and operational consequence intersect.

Rather than pursuing rapid scale through speculation, Gary builds methodically — validating architecture, strengthening reliability, and converting abstract AI governance principles into working systems that can be tested, observed, and improved.

His current initiatives include:

Smart-I-Shelf™ — a hardware-enabled smart shelving system designed as ValueIO’s initial go-to-market wedge and physical evidence layer. It captures real-world weight telemetry and shelf activity, introducing physical state awareness into AI-driven environments.

HomeSphere AI™ —  an evolving IoT and agentic orchestration platform structured to unify device telemetry, intelligent automation, foundation model routing, and user oversight across smart appliances and connected environments.

R.E.T.N.A™ — a decision governance framework designed to evaluate, authorize, and document AI-assisted or agentic decisions before they become real-world actions. It focuses on governance boundaries, admissible evidence, reason-coded outcomes, and receipt-backed accountability.

A.R.M.S™ — an agent-coordination architecture exploring safe, transparent collaboration among specialized AI services, with emphasis on routing, cross-agent communication, operational reliability, and governed execution.

Together, these initiatives form the ValueIO Stack — a layered infrastructure approach that connects physical telemetry, agentic orchestration, and pre-execution decision governance. This work is evolving into what Gary describes as a Decision Infrastructure Stack for Autonomous Systems (D.I.S.A.S): a framework for governing how intelligent systems observe, decide, and act in environments where consequence matters.

Gary’s recent work has advanced from component-level prototyping into integrated proof. Smart-I-Shelf physical telemetry, HomeSphere AI agentic orchestration, and R.E.T.N.A decision governance now operate through a unified interactive dashboard that demonstrates live evidence capture, fused state formation, Central AI coordination, governance-bound execution status, pilot-readiness health monitoring, and controlled degradation or blocking under edge-case conditions.

His approach to innovation is steady and systems-oriented — building proof before promotion, validating assumptions through working prototypes, and collaborating with advisors, technical contributors, and early partners who prioritize reliability over hype. His focus remains consistent: to design AI infrastructure that earns trust through performance, evidence, governance, and disciplined execution.

He believes the long-term future of AI will not be defined by speed alone, but by integrity, governance, physical-world accountability, and responsible integration into daily life.
